Contact Front

Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Effective 1 November 2026.

This policy explains what Contact Front ("we") collects when you use playcontactfront.com, why, and the choices you have. Questions go to support@playcontactfront.com.

What we collect#

Playing against bots without an account: nothing leaves your device. The game saves itself in your browser's local storage.

When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive from them an account id, your email address and, from Google, your name. Apple lets you hide your email behind a relay address. We use these only to sign you in and to answer you if you write to us. We never show your email or name to other players.

When you play online we store:

  • the username you choose, and when you joined;
  • your games: the orders you give, the results, your rank and score, and your profile statistics and achievements;
  • your team chat messages, which only your team in that game can read;
  • the players you block or mark as favourites, which only you can see;
  • if you turn them on, a push notification token for each browser or device, used only to tell you about your games.

Other players see your username, your rank, the games you play with them and, unless you set your profile to private in Profile, your profile page with its statistics and achievements.

Security and service data: to keep bots and abuse out, the site uses Google's reCAPTCHA Enterprise through Firebase App Check, which looks at signals from your browser and device. Our hosting keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and time of request) for a limited time. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address.

We use no analytics or tracking tools of our own.

Advertising#

We may show ads on some pages, served by Google AdSense. When ads are shown:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info.
  • Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown.

Google explains how it uses data from sites that show its ads at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Who processes your data#

Contact Front runs on Google Firebase (Google Cloud): sign-in, the game database, the game server and push notifications. Sign-in also goes through Google or Apple, whichever you choose. Their own privacy policies apply to what they do.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it except with these providers, to run the game, or when the law requires it.

Keeping and deleting your data#

We keep your account for as long as you have one. To delete it, write to us from the email address you sign in with. We then delete your account, profile, push tokens, and block and favourite lists. Finished games are part of the other players' history too, so their records and team chat stay, but your account is no longer tied to them.

Children#

Contact Front isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has signed up, write to us and we'll delete the account.

Your rights#

Depending on where you live (for example California, or the European Economic Area), you may have the right to see, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to how it's used. Write to us and we'll help.

Changes#

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top. For a significant change, we'll also say so on the site.
